Georgia
3D laser scanning.

Georgia 3D scanning across metro Atlanta, where one of the world's busiest airports, a deep corporate office market, and a fast-growing data centre and film base all generate different capture work.

Working in Georgia

Hartsfield-Jackson and the surrounding logistics corridor are the volume work: air cargo buildings, distribution space and cross-dock facilities measured for clear height, dock geometry and truck court circulation. Airspace here is as constrained as anywhere in the country, so any flight component is planned well ahead and often replaced by terrestrial capture.

Midtown, Buckhead and Downtown are occupied high-rise markets. Floor plates get captured between tenants, mechanical penthouses before equipment replacement, and older towers are increasingly measured for conversion studies. Perimeter Center and Cumberland add suburban office and medical buildings on their own fit-out cycles, and Alpharetta brings corporate and technology campuses.

Two Georgia-specific patterns show up repeatedly: data centre and technology facility work following the region's power and connectivity advantages, and production and studio space where capture has to fit between shoots. Humidity and summer storm season affect exterior scheduling more than temperature does.
