Warehouses & industrial buildings
captured properly.
Clear height, racking, slabs, dock faces, and roofs in a single industrial warehouse 3D scanning trip.
Why this building type gets scanned
Warehouse 3D scanning answers the numbers that drive every lease, retrofit, and automation decision: clear height under each obstruction, column grid, racking layout, loading dock as-built geometry, and slab elevation context — plus the roof, when the same visit can capture it by drone mapping from the air.
- Warehouse racking 3D scan data prevents expensive surprises during rack and mezzanine installs.
- A clear height survey under sprinkler, duct, and joist beats a single number on a marketing flyer.
- Slab elevation survey and floor flatness context matter for AS/RS and high-bay equipment.
- Industrial roof as-built data supports reroofing, solar, and rooftop equipment planning.
How a typical project runs
We walk the site or review drawings and photos, agree the areas and density, and set control. Field work is scheduled around your operations — nights, weekends, or planned outage windows where required. After registration and QA, the deliverable set is produced and reviewed with your team so the files are usable on day one. The full workflow is on our process page.
The deliverable set follows from the questions above. That is a clear-height and racking laser capture, CAD as-built floor plans and sections, and roof and yard drone mapping flown on the same day.
- Racking, aisles, and clear height
- Column grid and structure
- Loading docks, levelers, and dock faces
- Slab and floor level context
- Office and mezzanine build-outs
- Roof, yard, and truck court
- Point cloud and clear-height study
- As-built floor plans and sections
- Roof area takeoff and orthomosaic
- Optional Revit model
Where warehouse scanning happens
Industrial buildings here range from timber-framed lofts to modern tilt-up shells, and the questions do not change with the vintage: what is the clear height under the obstruction, where is the column grid, and does the dock geometry work for the trailers.
New York coverage includes industrial roof and yard mapping in Union, NY, warehouse clear-height surveys in Yonkers, as-built laser scanning for warehouses in Brookhaven, racking and column grid capture in Buffalo, and loading dock as-builts in Cheektowaga. On the New Jersey side it takes in warehouse clear-height surveys in East Brunswick, as-built laser scanning for warehouses in Edison, racking and column grid capture in Irvington, loading dock as-builts in Jackson, and industrial roof and yard mapping in Jersey City. The Connecticut side of the service area adds as-built laser scanning for warehouses in Stratford.
