What is construction verification, exactly?

Construction verification uses a 3D scan of installed work to check it against the design model or drawings, catching deviations — clearance conflicts, out-of-tolerance placement, missed elements — while they are still cheap to fix rather than after the next trade has built over them.

How do you actually compare built vs. designed?

The registered point cloud is compared directly against the design or coordination model, producing colour-mapped deviation drawings that show where installed work is off from design and by how much, down to individual panel offsets or clearance measurements. It turns "does this look right" into a specific, defensible number.

How often should we capture progress on an active project?

That depends on the pace and risk of the work — a fast-moving structural phase or a tie-in with tight tolerance benefits from more frequent capture than a slow finishes phase. We scope a capture cadence against your schedule and risk areas rather than applying one interval to every project.

Can this catch installation errors before they get expensive?

That is the main value of it — a deviation check run against fresh field data while a trade is still mobilized is far cheaper to act on than the same discovery made after the next system is installed on top of it or the crew has demobilized.
