Virginia
3D laser scanning.

Virginia 3D scanning anchored by Loudoun County — a very large concentration of data centre capacity — alongside the Northern Virginia corporate market and Richmond's industrial and institutional base.

Working in Virginia

Data centre work dominates Northern Virginia. Ashburn, Sterling and the Loudoun campuses mean white space, electrical rooms, chilled water plant, containment and overhead tray captured without touching live IT load, inside tightly escorted windows. Densification and cooling upgrades are the usual trigger, and the question is almost always real clearance above the racks rather than design intent.

Reston, Tysons and Arlington add corporate office and mixed-use space on fit-out cycles, with a significant government-contractor tenant base that brings its own access and data-handling requirements. Crystal City's redevelopment has produced a steady stream of existing-conditions work on buildings being repositioned.

Richmond is the industrial and institutional half of the state's demand: manufacturing and process facilities, the Short Pump commercial corridor, and downtown civic and medical buildings. Dulles and Reagan airspace constrain flight work across Northern Virginia severely.
