Hospitals & medical campuses
captured properly.
Above-ceiling conditions, OR suites, and campus buildings 3D scanned without disrupting care.
Why this building type gets scanned
Hospital renovation happens in occupied buildings. We 3D scan above-ceiling conditions, OR and imaging suites, mechanical penthouses, and the wider campus so phased construction can be planned against measured reality.
- Above-ceiling congestion is the number one source of hospital renovation change orders.
- Infection control and department schedules restrict access to short, planned windows.
- Imaging and OR equipment replacement needs verified clearances, door swings, and route surveys.
- Campus capital planning benefits from one measured record across many buildings.
How a typical project runs
We walk the site or review drawings and photos, agree the areas and density, and set control. Field work is scheduled around your operations — nights, weekends, or planned outage windows where required. After registration and QA, the deliverable set is produced and reviewed with your team so the files are usable on day one. The full workflow is on our process page.
The deliverable set follows from the questions above. Typically that is overnight laser capture of the department, an above-ceiling BIM model the design team can clash, and documented existing conditions for the phasing plan.
- Patient floors and departments
- OR, imaging, and procedure suites
- Above-ceiling MEP
- Mechanical penthouses and central plant
- Equipment delivery routes
- Campus exteriors and roofs
- Registered point cloud
- Revit model with above-ceiling MEP
- Route and clearance studies
- Roof and site orthomosaic
Where hospital capture comes up
Hospital work is never scheduled around the survey; it is scheduled around the department. The pattern repeats across the region — short overnight windows, infection control rules, and a ceiling nobody has opened since the last renovation.
The New York side of the service area adds imaging equipment route studies in Greenburgh, mechanical penthouse capture for medical buildings in North Hempstead, above-ceiling and OR suite capture in Smithtown, hospital renovation surveys in Syracuse, and medical campus documentation in Utica. In New Jersey that covers mechanical penthouse capture for medical buildings in Hackensack, above-ceiling and OR suite capture in Cherry Hill, hospital renovation surveys in East Orange, medical campus documentation in Morristown, and imaging equipment route studies in New Brunswick. Connecticut coverage includes above-ceiling and OR suite capture in Hartford, hospital renovation surveys in Danbury, medical campus documentation in New Haven, imaging equipment route studies in Stamford, and mechanical penthouse capture for medical buildings in Waterbury.
