3D scanning in
Pearl District (San Antonio), TX.
The Pearl is a redeveloped former brewery complex on the San Antonio River, now a showcase of adaptive reuse with restaurants, offices, a hotel, and residences.
3D laser scanning in Pearl District (San Antonio), TX
The district's historic brewhouse, stable, and industrial structures were repurposed and still anchor new infill, so scanning supports preservation, expansions, and tenant work. We document heavy masonry, tall brewery volumes, and rooftop and utility spaces to give designers accurate geometry in buildings with irregular original construction. The surrounding Museum Reach and Broadway corridor adds mid-rise residential and mixed-use projects.
Scope follows the question being asked. If the team already models in-house, an E57 and LAS handoff is the whole handoff; if the answer has to reach a permit desk, plans drawn from measured geometry is faster and easier for everyone downstream to open; if coordination is the real problem, a coordinated BIM deliverable is what pays for itself. Anything outside the envelope — roof, yard, stockpile — comes from drone survey work in the same mobilization.
Pearl District (San Antonio) sits inside our Texas service area, so mobilization is short and a return visit for a phase-two capture does not mean rebuilding the whole job. Most work here is scheduled within days rather than weeks, including nights and weekends for occupied buildings.
