3D scanning in
Back Bay, MA.

Back Bay is a Victorian neighborhood of brownstones and landmark buildings, along with the Prudential and Hancock towers and Copley Place.

3D laser scanning in Back Bay, MA

We scan Victorian rowhouses converted to offices, clinics, and condos for restoration and addition, and the large mixed-use towers for tenant improvement. The historic district limits exterior change, so interior documentation and facade surveys are central. Because the neighborhood sits on filled land with wood-pile foundations, we also capture basement and foundation conditions.

Scope follows the question being asked. If the team already models in-house, an E57 and LAS handoff is the whole handoff; if the answer has to reach a permit desk, plans drawn from measured geometry is faster and easier for everyone downstream to open; if coordination is the real problem, a coordinated BIM deliverable is what pays for itself. Anything outside the envelope — roof, yard, stockpile — comes from drone survey work in the same mobilization.

Back Bay sits inside our Massachusetts service area, so mobilization is short and a return visit for a phase-two capture does not mean rebuilding the whole job. Most work here is scheduled within days rather than weeks, including nights and weekends for occupied buildings.
