3D laser scanning in Downtown Phoenix, AZ

We scan the state and county government buildings around the Capitol Mall, historic hotels and 1920s-era commercial blocks being rehabilitated, and lab and clinical space on the Phoenix Biomedical Campus. Older buildings often have no reliable as-builts after decades of tenant improvements, so scan-to-BIM of existing MEP and structure is the usual deliverable. Summer heat pushes exterior and roof capture into early morning, and downtown event schedules around the arenas and ballpark limit street and loading-dock access.

Scope follows the question being asked. If the team already models in-house, an E57 and LAS handoff is the whole handoff; if the answer has to reach a permit desk, plans drawn from measured geometry is faster and easier for everyone downstream to open; if coordination is the real problem, a coordinated BIM deliverable is what pays for itself. Anything outside the envelope — roof, yard, stockpile — comes from drone survey work in the same mobilization.

Downtown Phoenix sits inside our Arizona service area, so mobilization is short and a return visit for a phase-two capture does not mean rebuilding the whole job. Most work here is scheduled within days rather than weeks, including nights and weekends for occupied buildings.
