Semiconductor fabs
captured properly.
Fab floors, subfabs, and tool hookup routes captured to sub-centimetre control.
Why this building type gets scanned
Tool installs live or die on hookup geometry. We scan fab floors, subfabs, chase levels, and central utility buildings so hookup routing, chase penetrations, and clearance checks are settled before the tool arrives on the dock.
- Tool moves and hookups are scheduled in hours, so the routing has to be right the first time.
- Subfab congestion is the constraint no legacy drawing set captures accurately.
- Cleanroom protocol makes ad-hoc field measurement slow and disruptive.
- Capital expansion planning needs a measured base for the whole campus, not one bay.
How a typical project runs
We walk the site or review drawings and photos, agree the areas and density, and set control. Field work is scheduled around your operations — nights, weekends, or planned outage windows where required. After registration and QA, the deliverable set is produced and reviewed with your team so the files are usable on day one. The full workflow is on our process page.
The deliverable set follows from the questions above. That is high-density capture of the floor and subfab, a clash-ready model for hookup routing, and the registered cloud itself where the tool vendor would rather work from raw data.
- Fab floor and bay/chase layout
- Subfab piping and support steel
- Central utility buildings
- Gas and chemical delivery rooms
- Waste treatment areas
- Roof and exhaust plant
- High-density point cloud
- Clash-ready BIM model
- Tool hookup route drawings
- Coordinate control documentation
Where fab and tool work comes up
Fab capture is concentrated where the supplier and precision manufacturing base already sits, and the schedule is set by the tool, not by us.
On the New York side it takes in chase and utility level capture in Clay and fab and subfab scanning in Poughkeepsie.
