Terrestrial laser scanning (TLS) is the inside-the-envelope tool for dense, millimeter-class geometry. Drone photogrammetry is the outside-the-envelope tool for roofs, yards, sites, orthos, surfaces, and volumes. We coordinate them when the project needs both.

Usually no. We scope access, escorts, and safety windows around your operations. A shutdown is only considered when the work area or site protocol requires it.

Typical TLS field accuracy is ±2–6 mm depending on site conditions, control, range, surface, and registration. We provide a registration and QA report instead of promising magic numbers.

Registered E57, LAS/LAZ, RCS/RCP point clouds; DWG and PDF 2D as-builts; RVT and IFC models; GeoTIFF orthos, DSM/DTM, contours; and volume reports in PDF + CSV.

Drone work is planned around FAA Part 107 requirements, airspace, LAANC where applicable, visual line of sight, and site-specific safety rules. Access, flight restrictions, and deliverables are confirmed in the scope.

Optional walkthroughs are available for orientation and remote walkdown context. They are not a substitute for engineering-grade scans, drawings, or models.

Regularly. Occupied buildings — hospitals, schools, offices, distribution centers — are usually captured outside operating hours, and turnaround work follows the outage schedule.

You do. The point cloud and derived deliverables are yours. We retain a project archive so a future phase can reuse the registration rather than starting over.

That is the normal case. Scanners are tripod-mounted and quiet, setups take minutes, and we plan escorted routes around production. A shutdown is only proposed when the geometry genuinely requires it, such as vessel internals or energized enclosures.
