Site safety
Our crews work to your site protocol, not a generic one. That means site-specific orientation, PPE to your standard, escorted access where required, and adherence to lockout/tagout, hot work, and confined space rules as they apply.
Field staff carry standard construction and industrial safety training. Where a facility requires additional certification — refinery safety councils, utility-specific training, cleanroom gowning, or hospital infection-control orientation — we arrange it as part of mobilisation rather than treating it as a surprise.
Scanning is low-impact by nature: tripod-mounted equipment, no hot work, no penetrations, no heavy plant. Class 1 laser products are eye-safe in normal use, and we still avoid direct scanning of personnel at close range.
Confined spaces and restricted areas
Vessel internals, tank interiors, and other confined spaces are never assumed to be in scope. They are either explicitly scoped with the correct permits, attendants, and equipment, or explicitly excluded and documented as excluded.
Energised electrical rooms, switchyards, and hazardous-area classifications shape both access and equipment selection. Where entry is unwise, aerial or long-range capture usually answers the question from a safe distance.
Drone operations
Flights are conducted under FAA Part 107. Airspace authorisation via LAANC is obtained where controlled airspace applies, which across the tri-state region is frequently — Newark, JFK, LaGuardia, Teterboro, Westchester, Bradley, and Tweed New Haven all shape flight planning.
Operations maintain visual line of sight, respect site-specific restrictions, and include a pre-flight briefing with your site contact covering flight area, altitude, timing, and abort procedures.
Insurance
We carry commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation and employers' liability, professional liability (errors and omissions), and unmanned aircraft liability for drone operations.
Certificates of insurance naming your entity as additional insured are issued on request during onboarding, and we can accommodate specific limits, endorsements, and waiver of subrogation requirements written into your contract. Tell us your requirements early — COI processing is a common cause of schedule slip that has nothing to do with scanning.
Documentation we can provide
Typical onboarding packages include certificates of insurance, W-9, safety programme summary, training records for assigned personnel, Part 107 certification for pilots, and completed vendor prequalification questionnaires.
