Parking structures come up regularly for condition and clearance surveys, where a scan produces geometry no tape measure will.

Deliverables get chosen against the decision rather than against a price list: the point cloud alone where a design team takes it from there, plans, sections, and elevations where the output has to be drawn, and an IFC or Revit model where several disciplines share the same congested space. Site and roof mapping is added when the outside of the building matters as much as the inside.
